We will be located at the Pelona Vista Park in Palmdale, California Friday and Saturday (May 2nd and 3rd). Come see us and get your magazine signed by Nicky Grist. There will be two autograph sessions which will take place at the Rally World Magazine booth located across from the Subaru Rally Team USA display, times are as follows:

Subaru Show Down, Sat. May 3 Western Region is planning our first annual Subaru Show Down in conjuction with the Rim of the World Rally in Palmdale, Ca. The City of Palmdale has provided a beautiful huge soccer complex (grass and lights) which will be used for this event. We have room for over 100 cars for the show. We plan to have approximatly 10 classes for judging. They will include street and performance. Super big $$ special Subaru trophys. Entry will be free and includes lunch. The show judging will commence at 10:00 AM sharp, so you will need to be at the park by 8:00AM or close to it. Winners will be announced and trophy presentations after the Rally restart. Bring some fold up chairs a cooler and bring your baby down! Details are still being put together. Show sign up info will be up soon on www.subaruwest.com The event will also include a large Subaru performance vendor fair and of course the Rim Rally Saturday restart. See the best rally cars in the US. We will have the STi and other special Subarus on display. Mitsu will display the new EVO8. The new STi Subaru team cars will be introduced at their first US rally. The new Mitsu EVO 8 rally cars will be there for round II of the SCCA ProRally Series. The Ford Focus open class car of Tim O'Neal will be there as well as Mazda's rally car. Enjoy the car show, view the vendor fair, see new new cars, enjoy the rally until 11:00PM. ALL FREE!

Some of you have heard the news as some of you may be reading for the first time that the Gravel Crew will be racing the WSRC - 2003 Western States Rally Championship Events as well as the California Rally Series!!!
